Best Free FTP Client Programs

Looking for a reliable free ftp client? Well then you've come to the right place. I'll only list the best of the best. Lets check em out.

Filezilla
Considered to be the best free ftp client by users everywhere. I highly recommend you give it a try before you check out anything else. It's totally free and open source. They also offer a free server! Download Filezilla here.

FireFTP
For all you Firefox users, check out this nifty extension. FireFTP is a free, secure, cross-platform FTP client for Mozilla Firefox which provides easy and intuitive access to FTP servers. Download FireFTP here.

I didn't find any other free FTP clients worth mentioning. There aren't that many truly free ftp clients available.

Best Free Defrag Programs

Defragging is important. It organizes your file system to help Windows read files faster. Fragmented disks can quickly become a bottleneck of the system performance. Too much fragmentation can easily lead to freeze-ups and system crashes.

If torrents aren't your thing then you've come to the right place. This simple tutorial is for Firefox users only because I never use Internet Explorer. If you use Internet Explorer or any other browser, simply replace the add on I use with an add on that is compatible with your particular browser.

Step #1
Go download and install video download helper for Firefox.
It's the best video download extension I've ever used.

Step #2
Go to your favorite site for watching movies online for free. Or look here for a site.

Step #3
Simply use the video download helper to download that movie for free!

After you download your free movie you can just keep it on your computer or you have the option to burn that free movie to DVD with free software.

There are so many fantastic free games on the internet. Flash games have come a long way in recent years spawning thousands of flash game websites and thousands of games. But when it comes to free online games your not just limited to flash games. You can play all your favorite old Nintendo, Sega, DOS, Gameboy games and more, all online and totally free.

I'll list just a few sites packed with enough free online games to keep you gaming for life.

Thesmartass
The first website I want to tell you is The Smart Ass. A great site to start with if you're looking to play all your favorite classic games. With 11 different browser based gaming platforms to choose from and thousands of games, it's easily a contender with any free game site on the net. Go check em out here.

Now that we've covered your classic gaming needs lets talk about flash games.
You really only need a few sources for free flash games. There are a lot of websites out there that host flash games, but with the combination of just a few sites you can play just about every flash game ever made.

Gameyanker
Now before I wrote this article I thought I knew of all the best free online game sites, but while I was snooping around the web I found this gem Gameyanker (don't worry I'd never heard of it either). Gameyanker hosts over 27,000 flash games.
Yes you read that right, no typo here I said OVER 27,000 games. Gameyanker claims they also add about 30 new games everyday. I could not find a website with more flash games than Gameyanker. Go check em out here.

Newgrounds.
Really just us much a community as a gaming site. Newgrounds is a great place to play the latest and greatest flash games available. Most game developers will submit their flash games to Newgrounds before any other site. Newgrounds also has many active and helpful forum members. If you wanna learn anything flash for free, Newgrounds is the place to start. Go check em out here.

With just those few sites in your bookmarks you'll be gaming for years to come.

How to burn movies to DVD the free and easy way

If you've ever Googled this subject I'm sure you know there are many tutorials for this on the interwebs. Most of the tutorials I found were ads for complicated and expensive software.

Today I'm going to teach where to download high quality movies for free. And how to burn them to DVD for free. The software I use is totally free. You will need Sothink DVD maker for this tutorial so go download it here Sothink DVD Maker.

After you've downloaded and installed Sothink go on over to your favorite free online movies site and download the free online movie of your choice.

When your download is complete, open Sothink and drag n drop your movie file,
or click the add button and navigate to your movie file.

When Sothink finishes loading your file (a few seconds) pop a blank DVD into your writer. Then click next on Sothink.

You may need to lower the video bitrate, do so in intervals of 500 until Sothink displays a green bar.

Next click options and select your video standard. If you live in the U.S. or Canada you will need to select NTSC.

Time to encode and burn, simply click next. The entire process will take a while (usually about 3 hours on my PC). All movie buring programs are slow, resource hogs, even expensive software.

Wait until Sothink says complete, then pop out your freshly burned DVD and enjoy!

You might also try the free software DVD flick for encoding and burning your movies.

Best free pc games 2009

In the world of free pc games there are TONS of options. Let me narrow down the list for you. All the games here are totally free, no demos or any trickery. Just glorious free games. These games were not specifically made in 2009 rather they are some of the best free pc games to date.
Now you might be asking yourself, who the hell is this guy to tell me which game is best? Well I'm not going to tell you which game is the best punk. You can decide which free pc game is the best for yourself.

Dyson - See video here.
Dyson is a real-time strategy game about self-replicating mining machines in an asteroid belt.
The goal of the game is you must ensure your survival by colonizing other asteroids in the belt and eradicating the other machines that have the same goal.

Allegiance - See video here.
Allegiance is a free, online, multi-player space simulation game. You pilot spacecraft, flying in a team with other players, defending and attacking sectors in space. Allegiance challenges your tactical ingenuity, your ability to function in a team and your prowess at blowing stuff up. Experienced players take command and lead their teams to victory or defeat.

Modern real time strategy game. Construct a base and then acquire a flow of resources, in order to fund the ongoing production of various forces to assault and conquer your opponent's base with. Every type of structure in the game acts as a tech tree node, and additional units, structures and special abilities become available to the player as new structures are built and placed. Very cool game.

A fantastic fanmade remake of SEGA's classic. The game features excellent 3D graphics, great special effects, and even a decent soundtrack to round things off.

America's Army - See video here.
